CWATE Membership
The Colorado & Wyoming Association of Teacher Educators (CWATE) is a state unit/affiliate of the Association of Teacher Educators (founded in 1920).

CWATE promotes quality teacher education programs for initial preparation, induction, and continuing professional development opportunities for P-12 school districts, agency-based, and college/university teacher educators.

CWATE is the only state/national (ATE) affiliate organization that represents individual educators in all disciplines.

CWATE members meet in the fall and spring, may attend the annual ATE conference, receive updates on relevant topics/requirements from CDE/CDHE, and publish the CWATE newsletter. CWATE enhances your professional development.

Membership Information

Membership in CWATE is paid annually.

Membership fees are as follows:

$20.00 for all non-student members​

$15.00 for all student members

Members can join at any time during the year. All memberships are active from May to the end of April each year.
